I'm a self trained artist that produces landscape realism and abstract work. I feel that the production, display, and encouragement of original art is important to community growth and definition.
The beauty found in the mundane features of life appeal to me and I believe that those observations should be introduced to the viewer through artwork. It’s a thrill to capture the simplicity of a moment and help define the world around me through brushstrokes. Like many others, I draw artistic influences from previous generations of artists, most particularly Winslow Homer, and Andrew Wyeth.
I have exhibited as a solo artist and in group exhibitions throughout MD and in the Mid-Atlantic region.
